Our Mountainview Viognier displays apple, pear and tropical fruit on the nose. The palate is quite complex from its French oak barrel aging. The impact of the barrel adds roundness and a creamy texture, but doesn’t eclipse the stone fruit that brightens up the mouth feel.
Syrah is such an interesting varietal and fairly scarce in Niagara. Our sole source of estate Syrah is a single block in the north west corner of our KEW Vineyard. As far as the taste profile goes it sits somewhere between Pinot Noir and Merlot. The nose is a complex combination of plum, spice, leather and some black cherry. The oak treatment includes more than 14 months in French oak giving the palate a spice and toasty note that makes this wine memorable.
We enjoy pairing this wine with duck breast, lamb, pork or BBQ.
This wine speaks for itself with notes of green apple, pear and bread on the nose. The bubbles on the palate explode, creating a clean and fresh feeling, assisted further by a touch of tart acidity. Tree fruits such as citrus, apple, peach and pear are the immediate flavours. The finish is both long and dry.
