Everyone loves an underdog and Gamay, although a classic varietal, always seems to walk in the shadow of Pinot Noir. However, Gamay Noir typically offers enhanced acidity and a more fruit forward palate than the average Pinot Noir.
We treat our Gamay with as much respect as our Pinot Noir. The vines are meticulously maintained ensuring that we get a balanced crop abound with ripe fruit. As Gamay Noir is a delicate style of wine, we allow it to sit on the skins for two weeks. This helps derive colour and complexity. The wine is then barrel aged in both small and large French oak barrels to soften and mature the wine.
On the nose this wine is full of red plum, raspberry, blackberry and a hint of smoked meat. The palate is refreshing, with dominate red berry notes. With its natural acidity, Gamay Noir is a wine that resets the palate with each sip.
One of the best things about Gamay Noir is its versatility. When slightly chilled the fruit steps forward even more, while the acidity drops further into the background. This keeps the wine refreshing and is perfect for those that typically drink white wine.Gamay Noir is a real treat when served alongside grilled meats, stuffed peppers or light gravies. It is also fabulous paired with spicy chicken wings.

Bin 95, a limited edition wine, has been crafted with hand selected, quality fruit. Made in the appassimento-style, the grapes were dried for 80 days before crushing and fermentation. Three weeks after fermentation, the wine was drained from the skins and current vintage wine was added to the skins for further maturation and extraction. The blend of 65% Cabernet Franc Appassimento and 35% Shiraz enhances the fruit characteristics and produces a wine of exceptional body and complexity.

Our Mountainview Merlot, which has been barrel aged for more than 24 months in French oak barrels, is best described as full bodied with rich and balanced tannins. On the nose, this wine offers beautiful aromas of blackberry, plum and smoke leading to a warm mouth feel on the palate with a blend of cherry, plum and cedar notes.

Syrah is such an interesting varietal and fairly scarce in Niagara. Our sole source of estate Syrah is a single block in the north west corner of our KEW Vineyard. Its taste profile lies between Pinot Noir and Merlot. The nose is a complex combination of plum, spice, leather and some black cherry while the aging for 14 months in French oak gives the palate a spice and toasty note that makes this wine memorable.
We enjoy pairing this wine with duck breast, lamb, pork or BBQ.

This is the first vintage of this single vineyard designated wine. The Angels Step vineyard is an immaculate vineyard on the west side of the Beamsville Bench. Its 25 acres are sloped at a gradual step down that perfectly highlights everything that the bench is known for: slope, elevation, rich soil, excellent drainage and airflow.
This Pinot Noir is a very gentle but complex expression of the grape varietal. On the nose it has lots of cherry, earth, cedar and a bit of spice. The palate is medium to full with lots of raspberry and cherry. The acidity is really special giving this wine a refreshing note which would make it perfect for food.
The vinification includes more than 14 months in French oak barrels which offers excellent texture and softer tannins to the palate.
