What is a Pét-Nat?
Pét-Nat is a sparkling wine made in the Méthode Ancestrale which really means that it is fermented in bottle without a final disgorge to remove the lees.
This wine is lower in pressure than its Méthode Traditionelle cousins and is slightly murky thanks to the unfiltered nature of the wine.
The nose is unique because along side the fruit aroma you find a yeasty or bread like character.
Production of this wine is limited to 300 bottles.
This blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris has a nose of red berries while the palate offers hints of strawberry, raspberry, tree fruits and a little minerality. This dry wine lets you enjoy a crisp, lingering finish.
Angels Share Rosé is a perfect sipping wine regardless of the season and it can take your cocktail to the next level! This wine will go beautifully with salads, pastas or salmon.

What is a GSM? Well, it could be a few different blends if you are in the wine know. Our example is an elegant blend of Gamay, Syrah and Merlot.
The unique combination of these three varietals brings something really special to the party. The Gamay provides a soft, refreshing and fresh red berry note. The Syrah brings structure to the palate as well as a bit of smoke and spice while the Merlot does what Merlot does best and provides a soft and velvety finish.
The GSM is part of our limited addition wines with a production of just 200 cases.
Best paired with grilled meats, light fish or pasta dishes.
|Varietal:||Gamay 66%, Syrah 23%, Merlot 11%
|Aging Method:||Barrel aged in French oak for 18 months|
This is the first vintage of this single vineyard designated wine. The Angels Step vineyard is an immaculate vineyard on the west side of the Beamsville Bench. Its 25 acres are sloped at a gradual step down that perfectly highlights everything that the bench is known for: slope, elevation, rich soil, excellent drainage and airflow.
This Pinot Noir is a very gentle but complex expression of the grape varietal. On the nose it has lots of cherry, earth, cedar and a bit of spice. The palate is medium to full with lots of raspberry and cherry. The acidity is really special giving this wine a refreshing note which would make it perfect for food.
The vinification includes more than 14 months in French oak barrels which offers excellent texture and softer tannins to the palate.
Riesling is an Angels Gate favourite and one of our best known varietals. This noble grape is the perfect test of terroir and can act as a calling card for a region’s ability to make world class wine. The Beamsville Bench is an excellent place to cultivate this grape due to the extensive minerality found in the soil and the temperate microclimate, which helps build acidity.
Riesling can be vinified into a variety of styles and our Beamsville Bench Riesling typically sits on the drier, steelier end of the spectrum.
On the nose, this wine is ripe with citrus fruits such as lemon and lime zest. In the background, hints of pink grapefruit round off the bouquet. The palate is quite dry, but very well balanced against its acidity, which provides a refreshing finish that lingers on the palate.
Riesling is the perfect food companion because of its refreshing character. It stimulates the appetite, while cleansing the palate, making many dishes more enjoyable and flavourful. We recommend pairing this wine with white fish, poultry, cream sauces and richer dishes.
